Required Education/Experience

+ Bachelor's Degree with 2 years field construction experience; or

+ Associate's Degree and 4 years field construction experience; or

+ High School Diploma/GED and 5 years field construction experience

Preferred Education/Experience

+ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Architecture preferred

Relevant Work Experience

+ Fundamental background in construction management and be knowledgeable in electrical, mechanical, civil, chemical, construction or Operations

+ Knowledge of the facilities, remediation, electric, gas and/or steam system

+ Proficiency with Microsoft office products (Words, Excel, Powerpoint, Access database, etc.) and Oracle is required; proficiency and knowledge of ProjectWise, Auto-CAD, Micro-station, Microsoft Projects, Primavera, MAXIMO, and/or Oracle Work Management System is preferred

+ Knowledge of Building Code and permit requirements

+ Knowledge of safety and environmental procedures related to working in generating stations, substations, commercial facilities or public streets

+ Knowledge of contract administration procedures, inspection and cost control

+ Ability to interface with external agencies and customers

+ Strong interpersonal, communication, written, and presentation skills

Licenses and Certifications

+ Driver's License Required

Physical Demands

+ Must work in inclement weather and adverse conditions (i.e., excessive heat, cold, noise, confined spaces)

+ Must walk, stand, lift, climb, bend, kneel, stoop, and/or reach

+ Must use their personal vehicles and transport, store, and secure company laptop computers and other job related equipment in the vehicle. Reimbursement for use of personal vehicle is available through the company mileage procedure.

Additional Physical Demands

+ Must be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers.
