    Job Description:

    Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a Senior Manager, Portfolio Insights and Operations. This role will be based in NJ or PA, and it is required to be in the office three days a week.

     

    The Senior Manager, Portfolio Insights and Operations site within the J&J Technology Strategy & Operations ePMO where you will provide strategic ownership and operational delivery of insights to run the enterprise Technology portfolio in a product model through 1) Integrated Governance, Prioritization and Reporting, 2) Portfolio Optimization and 3) Executive Dashboarding. This role will lead data analysis and will be responsible for delivery of best-in-class analytics solutions, as well as curated executive-level metrics, insights and summaries.

     

    We are seeking a creative problem solver with strong data and analytics skills who partners well across functions and all levels of the organization.

    The ePMO Senior Manager, Portfolio Insights and Operations provides strategic ownership and operational delivery of insights to run the enterprise Technology portfolio in a product model through:

    - Integrated Governance, Prioritization and Reporting: Shape and deliver real-time integrated views of Technology portfolio performance, inclusive of product/program dimensions in alignment with key priorities and reporting requirements.

     

    - Portfolio Optimization: Model and analyze portfolio performance in various scenarios, inclusive of the product model and program dimensions in alignment with financials, roadmaps, workforce and business value/outcomes.

     

    - Executive Dashboarding: Collaborate cross-functionally with our Finance partners and Portfolio Leads to deliver strategic insights and operational metrics to leadership, including EC, TLT and CIO scorecarding.

     

    This role will be responsible for creating analytical prototypes and scalable self-service solutions, as well as curating executive-level metrics, insights and summaries.

    Major Duties & Responsibilities:

    Portfolio Rituals – Through the continued evolution of enterprise reporting, ensure timely delivery of dashboards and insights to drive visibility to:

    + status of key Technology priorities and programs via Executive Committee (EC) Scorecard and Execution Dashboards, Technology Leadership Team (TLT) reporting, CIO reporting with greater focus on business outcomes and value.

    + key product excellence metrics including maturity, Outcome and Key Results (OKRs), Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), Talent, model optimization, etc.

    Product Manager – Practice continuous discovery and continue to mature Polaris, the enterprise Executive Dashboard product by:

    + maintaining Product Vision, OKRs, Roadmap, and financials.

    + owning the prioritized backlog and coordinating delivery with full adoption.

    Governance – Shape and implement a reporting governance strategy across the Technology organization to:

    + create efficiencies and drive standardization in tooling, reports, etc. Drive development of the future analytics technology roadmap and assess opportunities for operational efficiencies (e.g., consolidation of platforms, adopting new technologies).

    + develop and lead a community of practice for analytics, within the Technology organization with adoption of new metrics and standards.

    Perform ad hoc data exploration and stay current with industry trends and analytical practices to:

    + identify and develop key metrics that are used to measure and monitor performance through automated dashboards.

    + proactively assess data, translate insights into recommended actionable strategies that drive results.

    + inject outside-in views to benchmark and track progress over time.

    + contribute to building enterprise capability in advanced analytics by finding opportunities for connection of data sets and acquisition of new data sets, along with strategic input in areas for innovation and proof of concept testing.

     

    Support leadership level decision processes through governance, prioritization, timely communication on progress, changes and portfolio impacts.

    Other Duties:

    + Maintain annual reporting calendar/schedule in partnership with Finance, ESG, and others

    + Support leadership requests for ad hoc analytics

    + Ensure close alignment of Polaris roadmap with Nexus Product Manager

    Required Years of Related Experience:

    A minimum of 8 years of proven experience in metrics and reporting, business analytics, strategic planning, and/or management consulting required to enable data storytelling and executive reporting

    **Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities** :

    + Strong digital product management experience including experience in building data and analytics platforms/solutions

    + Model customer focus in understanding needs and designing solutioning

    + Strong understanding of business operations and financial literacy

    + Demonstrated skill in negotiation and influence

    + Experience helping leaders align priorities to the overall business goals and strategies

    + Ability to understand and navigate the complexities of operating in a matrix global framework

    + Ability to communicate clearly and storytelling across all levels of the organization, including executive-level audiences

    + Successfully implementing change across an organization with cross functional stakeholders

    + Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

    + Results orientation with strong sense of urgency – ability to drive to tight timelines

    + Intellectual curiosity and analytical mindset

    + Advanced analytical and statistical skills with attention to detail

    + Demonstrated ability to synthesize large and complex data sets into easily digestible visualizations that help derive actionable insights

    + Experience analyzing and building with visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI

    Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    + Management consulting experience, Digital Product Management, Agile/Scrum, JIRA, Tableau, Power BI, SQL.

    **Preferred Minimum Education** :

    + Bachelor's degree - Technical (Computer Science, Information Science, Data Analytics, Engineering) or Business

    The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

    $120,000-$207,000

    Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

    The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis. Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance. Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
