We are searching for the best talent to join our Vision team as a Senior Director, Vision Global Supply Chain Procurement located in Jacksonville, FL.
Purpose:
You will report directly to the VP Supply Chain Procurement MedTech and must be based in or willing to relocate to Jacksonville, Florida.
The Senior Director, Vision Global Supply Chain Procurement will be the Business Engagement Leader (BEL) accountable to oversee the external spend. The Vision Businesses are present in most markets of the world, represent more than $5 billion of NTS with projected significant growth and premier market positions. The business is quite diverse as it covers the lens business with significant FMCG market characteristics and the Surgical Vision business that is a complex and sophisticated MedTech business. The spend in support of this business resides in multiple categories and sums up to approx. $1 Billion per year.
You will be responsible for:
+ Representing all Procurement across the 3-tier model to the boards of Vision Supply Chain and R&D
+ Orchestrating the efforts of diverse categories (direct and indirect) and Global Services Procurement to the advancement of the Vision business
+ Leading the integrated Supply Chain Source business plan and the related long range financial plan for the Vision business
+ All the above in close collaboration with the MedTech or Enterprise Category leaders, who lead the overall category and supplier management scope and the delivery for their respective categories.
+ Partner as a pro-active member of the end-to-end Supply Chain Leadership Team as the Source member
+ Working closely with Vision Business Development and R&D to support new product pipeline development upstream and product launch and/or integration.
+ Being an active citizen in the MedTech Supply Chain community as well as in the Enterprise Procurement function
+ Engagement of Vision Supply Chain and R&D. Active membership I the Vision Supply Chain Leadership Team
+ Orchestrating of category/supplier management performed by the categories and oversight for the execution delivery of the strategic plan and business plan, in line with expectations put forth by Vision Supply Chain, Quality, R&D and Commercial functions.
+ Lead and develop the Vision Procurement team and its members.
+ Drive the engagement of the core suppliers in collaboration with Category Teams
+ Active member in the MedTech Supply Chain as well as the Enterprise Procurement functions.
Qualifications / Requirements:
Required
+ Bachelor’s degree
+ 15+ years of related experience (procurement, planning, materials, contract, and supplier negotiating and management, category management and equivalent.)
+ 5+years of People management
+ Proficient level of understanding of the Procurement processes in the 3-tier model and experience in engaging internal partners and leadership teams
+ Broad-based understanding of business operations and practices and core Procurement areas of focus (e.g., Category Management, Supplier Management, Supply Chain Integration, Business planning, Performance Management)
+ Strong Customer Orientation (building and maintaining strong relationships with J&J senior Management)
+ Strong leadership, vision/strategy setting, communication, influencing, collaboration, talent development skills are key
+ Strong project and change management capabilities
+ Strong verbal and written communication skill with ability to confidently present complex information
+ Ability to continuously improve the organization
+ Ability to travel 30% domestically and internationally
+ Must live in or relocate to Jacksonville, FL
Preferred
+ Masters or MBA degree
+ Experience with Commercial, Supply Chain or R&D
+ Elevated level of proficiency with core Procurement skills (e.g., supplier management and performance, supply market analysis, Category Management, Contract development, Procurement Excellence, and etc.)
+ Elevated level of credibility with internal customers, and with the supplier community
+ Strong influencing skills with ability to see issues from multiple viewpoints and understand differing needs of partners (e.g., businesses, Procurement LT, Marketing, R&D, Supply Chain); has "presence"
+ Strong Eye for Business, Medical Device and specifically Vision proven experience
+ Proven record in attracting and developing talent
+ Proven record in leading cross-functional teams and performing significant influencing roles
+ Significant eye for business and validated team building skills
+ Demonstrated flexibility and willingness to respond to changes in the external environment, while ensuring the organization can effectively and efficiently move through transitions
