Job Description:

Johnson & Johnson, Inc is currently recruiting for a Senior Financial Analyst – SigniFi, TransAct, and Finance Tech Solutions. The Senior Financial Analyst reports to the Finance Manager for Global Finance. This role will be based in New Brunswick, NJ.

The Senior Financial Analyst role will provide financial leadership and support to the SigniFi and TransAct programs and to the Global Finance technology investments. SigniFi is a multi-year program intended to deliver global standardization, enhanced digital capabilities, and process simplification with the objective of enabling an improved and optimal employee experience and ultimately the J&J Global Finance Way.

The Senior will proactively partner with leads in the Finance, IT and PMO organizations to manage all aspects of the budget and ensure the accuracy and compliance of forecasting and closing cycles, Long Range Financial Planning, and the SigniFi Business Case.

The ability to challenge business assumptions and educate business partners on financial issues and concepts will be required. The candidate must demonstrate strong financial leadership by providing guidance to business partners and summarizing details in a concise manner to upper management.

Scope:

+ **Impact of Decision-Making** : You will make decisions, provide recommendations, and influence business partners on decisions involving Finance business strategy and project portfolio in order to drive functional objectives for the Finance Function. Decisions and recommendations will have a direct impact on the strategy and resource prioritization.

+ **Accountability/Decision-Making** : Accountable for managing financial issues to deliver on short-and long-term business needs.

+ **Knowledge:** In-depth knowledge of global business and market dynamics by region, strategic and financial concepts, compliance, finance systems, and people development principles.

+ **Supervision Received:** Work received in broad terms and allows for independent execution. Significant business decisions are reviewed by senior business and finance management.

+ **Leadership Opportunities:** Accomplish work in collaboration with senior management and cross-functional teams. Influence business decisions and lead processes (governance, valuation, budget management) within the FS&T team.

Key Responsibilities:

+ **Forecasting:** Gains alignment with global/regional leaders on strategy and financial implications; anticipates additional long-term forecasting requirements and directs analyses; collaborates with key leaders and ensures that resources are aligned with goals and priorities.

+ **Financial Analysis and Reporting:** Establishing clear and achievable financial targets and achieving them in collaboration with business leaders.

+ **Business Support Analysis:** Collaborates with functional leaders to influence and shape business decisions, takes prudent risks and leads changes required to enable long-term strategy

+ **Compliance:** Ensures adequate processes are in place, documented, and tested to safeguard the assets of our entities. Ensures the organization meets company and external guidelines and policies. Ensures staff is knowledgeable about compliance changes and their implications and identifies any potential impact for the changes.

Qualifications

+ A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required; preferably with a major in Accounting or Finance

+ MBA, CPA, CMA or other financial certifications preferred.

+ A minimum 3 years of experience in Finance/Accounting is required

+ Experience in financial planning and analysis is required

+ SAP or TM1 experience is preferred

+ Ability to influence and shape business decisions is required

+ Strategic agility with big picture orientation is required

+ Strong communications skills are required. (presentations, listening, written skills)

+ Strong business collaboration and interpersonal skills is required

+ Ability to motivate and empower others to achieve a desired action is required.

+ Strong leadership abilities including mastering complexity is required

+ The position will be located in New Brunswick, NJ and may require up to 10% travel

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$76,000 - $121,900

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
