NeuroRestorative, a part of the Sevita family, provides rehabilitation services for people of all ages with brain, spinal cord and medically complex injuries, illnesses and other challenges. In a variety of locations and community-based settings, we offer a range of programs, including vocational and therapy programs, day treatments, and specialized services for infants, children, adolescents, Military Service Members and Veterans.

Vocational Supervisor

Do you have strong leadership skills, experience in vocational rehabilitation, and the desire to improve the lives of others? In the role of Vocational Supervisor, you will contribute to the company’s commitment to serve others by collaborating with the interdisciplinary treatment team to coordinate and develop productive vocational activity programs.

+ Work with vocational representatives from all applicable programs to coordinate job coaching services for community placements

+ Serve as an active participant on the interdisciplinary treatment team, promoting staff and transdisciplinary teamwork

+ Direct training of staff in the implementation of all therapeutic programming and ensure that training requirements are current

+ Coordinate orientation of participants into the woodshop; work with appropriate staff to ensure safe operations and maintain inventory of woodshop supplies and equipment Ensure completion of relevant sections of evaluation, progress, and discharge reports in a timely manner

+ Participate in budget preparation; develop work schedules, ensuring appropriate shift coverage at all times within budget and staffing guidelines

_Qualifications:_

+ Bachelor’s Degree in Vocational Rehabilitation or related field preferred

+ 1 year of experience working with special needs populations; supervisory experience preferred

+ Strong leadership skills and effective communications skills

+ Self-motivated and detail-oriented with ability to multi-task

+ A reliable, responsible attitude and commitment to the company’s mission and values
