    Job Description

    EPS Corporation is seeking an experiencedSME/Site Lead - Cybersecurity Operationsto manage and lead cybersecurity operations across critical sites. The ideal candidate will have expertise in cybersecurity, strong leadership abilities, and hands-on experience with network security and operational technologies. This role requires an individual who can effectively manage teams, drive security initiatives, and oversee day-to-day cybersecurity operations within a high-security environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Lead and manage cybersecurity operations, ensuring the protection of critical assets and networks in a dynamic, high-security environment.

    + Oversee and support the cybersecurity team in detecting, analyzing, and responding to security threats and incidents.

    + Provide expert guidance and direction in the implementation of cybersecurity solutions, ensuring compliance with organizational security policies and procedures.

    + Lead the identification, analysis, and mitigation of cybersecurity risks and vulnerabilities across network infrastructure.

    + Ensure adherence to industry standards and frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, FISMA) in the development and execution of security policies.

    + Manage the day-to-day operations of cybersecurity services, ensuring alignment with mission-critical objectives and service-level agreements (SLAs).

    + Collaborate with other teams and senior leadership to identify and address security needs and ensure seamless coordination across projects.

    + Conduct cybersecurity assessments, vulnerability scans, and audits to evaluate the effectiveness of security measures and implement necessary improvements.

    + Provide mentorship and guidance to cybersecurity personnel, developing their technical expertise and enhancing team performance.

     

    Prepare and present detailed reports on security metrics, incidents, and operational status to senior management

    Requirements

    Qualifications:

    + Security Clearance: Must possess aTop Secretclearance withSCI eligibility.

    + Certifications:

    + Network+ or CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate)

    + CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)

    + CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker)

    + ITIL Foundation Certification

    + Education:

    + M.S. in a related field (e.g., Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Network Engineering) OR

    + 10+ years of relevant IT experience.

    + Experience:

    + 7+ years of relevant experience in cybersecurity operations (preferred), OR

    + 10+ years of experience in IT, with a strong emphasis on cybersecurity and network security.

    + Proven leadership experience in managing cybersecurity teams and operations.

    + In-depth knowledge of network security protocols, threat analysis, incident response, and firewall technologies.

    + Experience in vulnerability assessments, risk management, and security policy development.

    Additional Skills:

    + Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate, direct, and mentor cybersecurity personnel.

    + Hands-on experience with security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and vulnerability management tools.

    + Ability to design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructures, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

    + Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and best practices (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).

    + Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and respond effectively to cybersecurity incidents.

    + Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

    + Experience in threat hunting, security monitoring, and risk assessment.

    + Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment, with a focus on delivering results.
