What You Will Do

+ Sets up equipment and welds parts, using gas welding equipment.

+ Assists the Supervisor with employee activities. This includes evaluation and discipline, Corrective Action

Request responses.

+ Keeps informed of any changes and new procedures throughout the day to stay on production schedule.

+ Analyze and resolve work situations and assist production workers in solving work problems.

+ Communicates information, assists in resolving problems and supports continuous improvement initiatives.

+ Assists the Supervisor in directing the work activities of the welders.

+ Understands, follows and enforces all established safety, health, quality and Company policies, procedures

and recognized practices.

+ Every employee is expected to support the GFS Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with our

Quality System Manual and Quality Procedures.

What You Have to Offer

+ High school diploma or GED.

+ One-year certificate from a technical school preferred (years of experience may substitute degree).

+ 5 or more years of experience in manufacturing.

+ 1-2 years of leadership experience.
