Compensation: Up to $85,000
Status: Full-Time
Category: Exempt
Shift: Monday - Friday, 9:00 am-5:00 pm
Reports to: Assistant Director

Position Summary: The Recruiting Specialist will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and onboarding qualified candidates to support individuals with developmental disabilities. This role plays a key part in ensuring that we maintain a caring and qualified workforce to meet the needs of those we serve.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Collaborate with hiring managers to assess staffing needs and position requirements
+ Actively target qualified candidates by reverse recruiting, engaging with potential candidates to increase the applicant pool for specialized roles.
+ Create and post job listings on appropriate platforms
+ Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and community outreach
+ Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and coordinate hiring processes
+ Ensure all hires meet regulatory and agency-specific training and certification requirements
+ Promote a positive candidate experience and maintain clear communication throughout the recruitment process
+ Maintain accurate records and reports in compliance with agency policies and state regulations
Qualifications:
+ Proven experience and expertise in recruitment, preferably in human services, healthcare, or nonprofit Agencies that support the IDD population.
+ At least 5 years of recruiting experience.
+ At least one year experience managing an ATS system.
+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills
+ Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
+ Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
+ High level of cultural sensitivity and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
Preferred:
+ Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Social Work, or related field
+ Familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements and background checks
+ Experience with Paycom's HRIS a plus.
