GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Talent Development Program Manager is a key driver in fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth within our healthcare organization. This role is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating comprehensive talent development programs that align with our strategic goals and empower employees to achieve their full potential. This includes leadership development, succession planning, performance management, career development, and other initiatives that support a safe and inclusive work environment where extraordinary careers thrive. The Talent Development Program Manager will collaborate with leaders and stakeholders across the organization to identify needs, create innovative solutions, and ensure programs are impactful and accessible.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Program Design & Development: Design, develop, and deliver engaging and effective talent development programs, including workshops, online learning modules, coaching, mentoring, job rotations, and other innovative solutions.
+ Implementation & Facilitation: Manage the implementation of talent development programs, ensuring seamless execution and participant engagement. This may include facilitating workshops, coordinating logistics, developing and managing communications, and tracking participation.
+ Evaluation & Measurement: Establish metrics to measure the effectiveness of talent development programs and track their impact on individual and organizational performance. Analyze data, gather feedback, and make continuous improvements to program design and delivery.
+ Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with leaders, HR business partners, and other stakeholders across the organization to understand their needs, gather input, and ensure programs are relevant and aligned with business objectives.
+ Vendor Management: Evaluate and select external vendors for specialized training or development programs when necessary. Manage vendor relationships to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
+ Budget Management: Develop and manage the budget for talent development programs, ensuring resources are allocated effectively and aligned with priorities.
+ Learning Technologies: Leverage learning technologies and platforms (LMS, online collaboration tools, etc.) to enhance program delivery, accessibility, and tracking.
+ Stay Current: Stay informed of current trends and best practices in talent development, leadership development, and learning technologies.
+ Continuously seek opportunities to innovate and improve programs.
+ Champion Culture: Promote a culture of learning and development throughout the organization, emphasizing the importance of continuous growth and development for all employees.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
+ Deep understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and talent development best practices.
+ Proven ability to design, develop, implement, and evaluate effective learning and development programs.
+ Strong facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire participants.
+ Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
+ Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
+ Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess needs, identify solutions, and measure program effectiveness.
+ Knowledge of learning technologies and platforms (LMS, online collaboration tools, etc.).
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
+ Passion for developing others and fostering a culture of learning.
+ Knowledge of healthcare industry and its unique talent development challenges is a plus.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
+ Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
+ Five Plus (5+) years of experience in talent development, learning and development, or a related field.
+ Experience designing and implementing leadership development programs.
+ Experience working with a diverse workforce.
+ Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus.
+ Certifications in talent development, instructional design, or related areas are preferred (e.g., CPTD, ATD).
