**Location:** Houston, TX | **Pay Rate:** $35/hour | **Schedule:** 1st Shift (8am - 5pm)

Use Data to Shape Strategy and Fuel Profitability

Are you a numbers-savvy problem solver with a passion for making sense of data and driving real business results? PDS Tech Commercial is looking for a sharp, analytical, and motivated Business Analyst to support one of the Company's most important divisions—a key player in the Consumer Products industry. In this role, you won’t just crunch numbers—you’ll influence strategy. You'll partner closely with the Division Planning and Performance Manager to uncover actionable insights, improve pricing models, optimize performance, and directly contribute to profitability and growth.

What You’ll Do: Day-to-Day Responsibilities

+ Assist in the development and maintenance of Division pricing strategies

+ Analyze large datasets to identify opportunities and trends

+ Support planning and performance reviews with ad hoc reports and routine analytics

+ Collaborate with sales and Division teams to create actionable plans that drive profitable growth

+ Provide forecast evaluations and performance analysis to close gaps and overcome hurdles

+ Maintain accurate master data mapping across systems and manage updates

+ Analyze system usage to recommend report improvements and drive automation

+ Validate and align requirements for new automated reporting tools

What You Bring to the Table

Required Qualifications

+ Minimum of 3 years of experience in analytics, data mining, or business analysis

+ Strong understanding of information systems and technical data analysis

+ Proven experience with statistical modeling, forecasting, and system evaluation

+ Ability to clearly present insights and data-driven recommendations

+ Advanced analytical and mathematical thinking skills

+ Proficient in identifying inconsistencies and driving data integrity

+ Excellent communication, follow-through, and problem-solving skills

+ Organized and detail-oriented with strong project management capabilities

+ Must be an Excel **EXPERT** !

Preferred

+ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field

+ Experience working within Consumer Products or Food Service channels

+ Familiarity with reporting automation tools or business intelligence platforms

**Pay Details:** $35.00 per hour
