The Quality Supervisor is responsible for supervising quality technicians and leading an operations team in regard to quality shift performance. The Quality Supervisor’s role is to maintain product and process quality by effective application of quality tools and procedures. The Quality Supervisor will audit and assess operations and quality personnel in respect to their quality related requirements. They will be critical in assessing the competency of operations and quality personnel for such duties and reinforcing procedures related to quality inspection and operations response to quality driven issues. They will document nonconforming product and facilitate the disposition of the nonconforming product.
What you’ll do as a Quality Supervisor:
+ Oversee the performance of direct and indirect reports and special project teams in accordance with job expectations, standards specifications and overall operational targets.
+ Timely review team performance on an individual basis with regularly scheduled meetings
+ Provide timely constructive feedback to direct reports and project teams to ensure output is in accordance with expectations.
+ Maintain positive, collaborative relationships with direct reports and project teams to promote a high level of commitment and engagement.
+ Supervise the development of talent of direct reports to ensure proper pipeline of skilled talent for relevant current and future needs.
+ Support the alignment of jobs, activities, tasks, and objectives with broader organizational mission, vision, values, and goals.
+ Ensure line quality metrics are met.
+ Lead by example, displaying day to day leadership behavior that builds a collaborative, positive culture in support of organizational health and growth.
+ Overseeing individual contributors and lead production staff in a high-volume manufacturing environment or equipment intensive manufacturing facility
+ Direct oversight of hourly teams, including performance management
+ Lead Material Review Board & timely disposition of NC Material
+ Support Incoming Inspection
+ QC Cross Training & improve QC competency.
+ Support plant wide training initiatives for new hires focusing on quality.
+ Daily QC support to ensure in-process operations quality.
+ QC-Lab support & Color Management support to shop floor .
We’re looking for a Quality Supervisor with:
+ 5 years or more of relevant work experience in progressive manufacturing or high volume manufacturing environment or equipment intensive manufacturing facility
+ Manufacturing/printing experience preferred.
+ Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
+ Use of basic quality inspection tools (calipers, micrometer, height gage, tensile tester etc)
+ knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
+ Knowledge and understanding of Inventory systems.
+ SAP knowledge preferred.

Physical requirements and working conditions:
Our manufacturing Plant is comprised of enclosed office and manufacturing space. This position requires:
+ Physical exertion required in lifting, bending, pushing and pulling.
+ Ability to manipulate objects and use various measurement tools
+ Occasional lifting to 35 pounds.
+ Frequent prolonged standing up to 8 hours.
+ Working in a manufacturing environment while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment, typically ear plugs.
+ Corrected 20/20 vision is required along with no less than average color acuity.
+ Sitting at workstation approximately 40 percent of work time.
+ Standing and walking approximately 40 percent of work time.
