Summary:

+ The Clinical Nurse - Pool, provides direct care to patients and demonstrates safe practice within the domains of clinical judgment and decision-making, nurse-patient/family relationships, clinical leadership, and clinical scholarship.

+ Will work with others on the healthcare team to facilitate the coordination of care across the continuum.

+ Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide individualized care based on physical, psychosocial, cultural, educational, safety, and age appropriate considerations of assigned patients.

+ In addition, will practice within the Penn Medicine professional practice model, demonstrate Penn Medicine core values which reflect its mission, and comply with all regulations and standards of regulatory and accrediting bodies.

+ This position offers the combination of part-time hours and benefits with premium per diem pay rates.

+ RNs in these positions are part of and may be assigned to work in any of our Women's Health units.

+ Most RNs in this pool work 12-hour shifts.

+ You are considered part time staff in every way. The only difference from nurses assigned to a particular unit is that you do not find out which unit you are working until you arrive at work.

Credentials:

+ Registered Nurse - PA (Required)

+ BSN (Required)

+ BLS (American Heart Association)

Education or Equivalent Experience:

+ 2+ years of relevant Women's Health RN experience
