Summary:
The Nursing Coordinator for Penn Cardiology will be responsible for coordinating and maintaining the ambulatory practice nurse schedule and coverage across all practice sites.
The Nursing Coordinator supports the practice by maintaining a patient/customer focus, delivery of the highest quality care, shares a passion for patient and customer centered care, and assists in meeting or exceeding patient satisfaction and financial and operational targets.
The Nursing Coordinator direct the activities of the practice nurses across the enterprise and is responsible for process improvement and performance assessment.
Responsibilities:
•Coordinates the nursing schedules and coverage through the Penn Cardiology Practice sites.
• Directs the activities of the practice nurses and is responsible for process improvement and performance assessment.
• Collaborates with the providers and director to review and develop policies and guidelines for the practice nurses and participates in direct patient care related to the outpatient practice patients.
Credentials:
+ Advanced Cardiac Life Support from American Heart Association (Required)
+ Basic Cardiac Life Support from American Heart Association (Required)
+ Registered Nurse - PA (Required)Education or Equivalent Experience:
+ Baccalaureate degree in nursing
+ Current professional Nursing license in good standing for the Pennsylvania and New Jersey
