Quality Systems Manager – Aerospace

Responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining Quality Management Systems (QMS) in compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, FAA/EASA regulations, and customer standards.

Oversees internal and external audits, manages corrective actions, and ensures continuous quality improvement across production operations. Acts as liaison with regulatory bodies, customers, and suppliers, and supports cross-functional teams to maintain compliance and process control.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Manage QMS and ensure compliance with aerospace and regulatory standards.

+ Lead internal audits and support external inspections (FAA, EASA, customers).

+ Address non-conformances and oversee corrective/preventive actions.

+ Monitor production for adherence to quality and regulatory procedures.

+ Develop KPIs, analyze trends, and report quality performance to leadership.

+ Support risk management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.

+ Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, production, and supplier quality teams.

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s in engineering, quality, or related field (Master’s preferred).

+ 7–10 years of aerospace quality experience; manufacturing background required.

+ AS9100 Lead Auditor or FAA Auditor Certification preferred.

+ Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt) and FAA A&P license are a plus.

+ Strong knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001, FAA/EASA, and quality tools (FMEA, SPC).

+ Skilled in audits, compliance, data analysis, and quality software.

+ Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Compensation: $115k-170k; relocation available
