We are looking for a Marketing/Communications Intern/Co-op to work part-time during the school year in our Brentwood, MO office. In this role you will gain first hand experience in creative approaches to problem-solving and make an impact within the marketing department. At ARCO, we recognize those who are results-oriented and take ownership of their projects, while also maintaining a positive, team-focused attitude.

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU

The internship program in ARCO’s Communications Department is designed to provide hands-on on enterprise environments in a practical setting. Students get an opportunity to gain insight and meaningful experience and develop additional soft skills necessary while working at ARCO. Work part time during the school year while attending college classes. Full time working hours available in the summer.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

+ Design content for internal and external platforms and corporate communications

+ Develop copy and graphics for social media

+ Design website assets, emails, and other visual graphics leveraging brand guidelines

+ Assist in designing collateral for monthly initiatives

+ Assist in various production activities

+ Manage design projects while meeting deadlines

+ Performs other duties/projects as assigned

NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS

+ Portfolio required

+ Currently enrolled and attending an accredited college/university studying Visual Communications, Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related field

+ Detail-oriented, problem-solving mindset and excellent communication skills

+ Skilled in Photoshop, InDesign, and Adobe Illustrator

+ Strong eye for design best practices and ability to match brand aesthetic

+ Understanding of digital marketing and social media channels

+ Ability to work well within a team environment and participate in department projects
