Physical Therapist - Sports Medicine

+ _Part-Time: 20 hours per week_

Join our Rehabilitation Services team as a Physical Therapist specializing in Sports Medicine.

Under the guidance of the department Supervisor, you will play a key role in evaluating and treating patients, managing their rehabilitation process, and supporting the smooth operation of the department.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Conduct initial evaluations, reassessments, and discharge summaries for a diverse patient population.

+ Provide patient treatment based on evaluations and reassessments.

+ Complete documentation in a timely manner and maintain productivity standards.

+ Delegate tasks appropriately and contribute to patient case management.

+ Perform non-clinical tasks to ensure effective daily operations.

+ Engage in departmental, hospital, and community programs or meetings.

+ Teach, orient, train, supervise, and mentor co-workers, new employees, volunteers, observers, and at least one student annually.

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor's., Master's, or DPT degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program.

+ Current Physical Therapist license in Ohio.

+ Strong communication skills with the ability to problem solve, plan, and prioritize.

+ Flexibility and independent judgment in decision-making.

+ Commitment to confidentiality and ethical conduct according to APTA's Code of Ethics.

+ Demonstrates a positive attitude, initiative, dependability, and effective verbal and written communication.

+ BLS certification required at time of hire.
