    Route Driver

    **Location:** Dubuque, IA

    **Position Type:** Full-Time

    **Hours:** Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM (some on-call required)

    **Compensation:** $20 per hour

    **Description:** A Dubuque company is seeking a reliable and skilled Route Driver to deliver products to customers. The ideal candidate must have a CDL Class B or C with Hazmat endorsement, a good driving record, and strong customer service skills. This role involves 70% driving within a 100-mile radius and 30% shop work.

    Responsibilities:

    + Deliver product and equipment to customers in various locations

    + Load and unload product with care and in compliance with safety regulations

    + Conduct pre trip and post trip inspections of the vehicle

    + Check regulators and hoses for proper functioning

    + Provide excellent customer service and handle cash/payments

    + Perform shop tasks as needed

    + Maintain accurate records of deliveries and installations

    + Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and traffic laws.

    Requirements:

    + Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with Hazmat endorsement

    + Clean driving record.

    + Previous experience in delivery driving is preferred but not required.

    + Must pass yearly DOT required physical examination and random DOT required drug testing

    + Ability to lift and move heavy cylinders (up to 100 lbs.) regularly.

    + Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

    + Excellent communication and customer service skills.

    + Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

    + High school diploma or equivalent
