Salary: $55,151 - $65,000
Binghamton University's Decker College of Nursing and Health Sciences Division of Nursing, located at the health sciences campus in Johnson City, New York, is hiring for a Clinical Coordinator.
Responsibilities include:
+ Securing/Scheduling clinical sites for undergraduate pre-licensure courses (group placements)
+ Securing/Scheduling/Negotiating individual student placements in senior year
+ Establishes professional relationships with existing clinical sites and provides information and support as needed
+ Participates in site negotiations, regional site clinical planning meetings as scheduled by partner sites throughout the year
+ Collaborates to place pre-licensure students into appropriate clinical sites with director and faculty
+ Assists in identifying new clinical sites that provide sufficient numbers and appropriate clinical experiences to develop competency/meet course outcomes
+ Establishes professional relationships with existing clinical sites and preceptors, providing support as needed
+ Works with UG program office to ensure compliance with professional, state, and national regulatory reporting including providing data for grant applications and reports
+ Collects, maintains, and communicates agency onboarding requirements for students, faculty and agencies
+ Creates/maintains all clinical site onboarding information, roster creation and requirements for Faculty and students that are associated with the respective clinical term
+ Consults with undergraduate program directors to align clinical sites and units with courses to create the clinical schedule
+ Maintains agency specific security clearances to enter onboarding information as required
+ Primary point of contact with nurse educator/affiliating agency liaisons
+ Maintains & updates clinical section rosters at the completion of registration - creates the roster schedule for course coordinators, clinical faculty, ISPC
+ Creates the PODS subgroups by clinical section in consultation with the ISPC - sets policies regarding special requests
+ Maintains health requirements of undergraduate students as part of the onboarding process
+ Develops expertise in Exxat platform for clinical tracking of competencies in undergraduate program
+ Collects and maintains professional credentialing documents from preceptors (when applicable) including CV, licensure, certifications in electronic files and Exxat program
+ Collects and maintains clinical site evaluations from faculty and students
+ Collects, maintains, and communicates student health requirements for clinical placement
+ Creates rosters of student placement at clinical sites
+ Develops expertise in Exxat platform for clinical tracking of students.
Job Requirements:
+ Bachelor's Degree
+ At least 3 years of experience in higher education and/or health care management
+ Experience working with confidential information
+ Effective oral and written communication skills
+ Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
+ Proficient computer skills
+ Ability to work independently
Preferred:
+ Experience with Google Suite and Microsoft Office
+ Experience working in healthcare
+ Experience with the Exxat platform
