    The Administrative Assistant of Residential is primarily responsible for support and assistance to the Assistant Directors and Program Directors.

     

    An administrative assistant's duties encompass a wide array of tasks, including answering phones, managing schedules and calendars, coordinating meetings, handling correspondence, and providing general office support.

     

    + Answering phones and directing calls.

    + Responding to emails and other inquiries.

    + Drafting and proofreading correspondence, reports, and other documents.

    + Maintaining professional communication with colleagues, individuals, and visitors.

    + Scheduling meetings.

    + Managing calendars and ensuring timely reminders.

    + Coordinating schedules for multiple individuals.

    + Preparing meeting agendas and materials.

    + Taking and distributing meeting minutes.

    + Following up on action items from meetings.

    + Greeting and assisting visitors.

    + Maintaining office supplies and equipment

    + Ordering and receiving office supplies.

    + Sorting and distributing mail and faxes.

    + Managing files, both physical and digital.

    + Entering data into databases and spreadsheets.

    + Maintaining accurate records and files.

    + Tracking, updating and maintaining office databases.

    Requirements

    + High school diploma or GED.

    + Must type at least 30 wpm,

    + Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

    + 3 years of administrative office experience.

    + Valid NYS Drivers’ License

    + Reliable Transportation
