Raytheon's Advanced Products & Solutions finance team is seeking a Principal Financial Analyst work within the Fire Control Radar Products - Navy finance organization. This role is a mix of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) lead and Program Controls support. You will be working for an organization that is noted for its teamwork across functional boundaries. You will be responsible for working closely with the cross-functional partners in Program Management, Finance, Engineering, Supply Chain & Ops. The position offers an excellent opportunity for someone to learn and expand their abilities in the finance and business management disciplines. You will be an essential team member performing program cost reporting and financial analysis functions.
The position involves the generation of internal cost reports, monitoring and analysis of cost data and financial planning systems and resources, and compiling quarterly estimate at completion (EAC) for presentation to program and finance management.

What you Will Do
+ Weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual routines including the following: Financial forecasting, Short Range Outlook (SRO), Annual Operation Plan (AOP) and 5-Year Long Range Strategic Planning.
+ Ensures the accuracy and timeliness of all financial information for the FCRP Navy product line and manages/oversees deliverables to FP&A for month end close, monthly Short Range Outlook, monthly Preforecast, yearly Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Five Year Plan (5YP).
+ Load and tie out all systems for financial forecasts, AOP and 5 year Planning. Responsible for consolidating, reporting and analyzing all financial metrics including bookings, sales, profit, cash.
+ Support various FCRP Navy level meetings and senior management level meetings.
+ Responsible for coordinating program related presentation for the FCRP Navy Business Reviews.
+ Serve as part of the integral link between Program Management, Finance, Engineering, Supply Chain & Ops to help drive revenue growth, cost reduction, operating profit & performance/process re-engineering to meet short & long term business unit objectives.
+ Identify continued process improvements, implement reporting efficiencies and ensure product quality, while meeting critical deadlines and managing multiple conflicting priorities.
+ Analyze and understand data quickly in order to make informed business decisions.
+ Exhibit financial independence, possess high business acumen and exhibit robust analysis.
+ Interpret and ensure implementation of Raytheon Financial Policies and Procedures to program personnel as part of their daily/weekly communications.
+ As assigned, responsibilities include variance analysis, data reviewing and reporting and Estimate-at-Completion (EAC) development
Qualifications You Must Have
+ Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
+ Working knowledge of SAP System Tools, Microsoft Excel.
+ Experience with Financial Planning & Analysis.
+ Experience with Financial forecasting.

+ Excellent communication skills required to coordinate financial data and inputs across multiple production sites across the U.S. and internationally. This role plays an essential role in establishing transparent finance processes and decision-making tools to assist key team members in the growth of this business.
+ The ability to be self-sufficient as well as operating in a team environment, supporting the Functional business efforts will be fundamental to thrive in this role and will help maximize the shareholder value of the organization work effort.
+ Business management covers a wide set of requirements, so you will need to show flexibility in job abilities and excellent communication skills.

+ This position is grade P3, Principal Specialist, Financial Planning & Analysis.
+ Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 90,000 USD - 182,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
