The **Medical Secretary** performs a variety of secretarial and administrative duties for the assigned physicians, section chiefs or chairman relating to the organization and management of the department.

*Looking for a candidate that is flexible for either a 8:00am-4:30pm shift and 8:30am-5pm*

* Insurance Verification and prior authorization knowledge strongly preferred*

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

+ High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs.

+ Knowledge of medical terminology.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

+ Associate's degree.
