What you'll do...
As a member of the Health and Wellness Quality Engineering group, you'll be responsible for test designing, test execution, and find defects using both manual and automation that can directly improve our customers lives. Youll independently handle high impact, critical software/systems monitoring issues, troubleshoot business and production issues. As a member of the team, you'll be able to say that you work for the worlds largest retailer and contribute to the development to best-in-class methodologies that impacted perception and drastically changed business as we know it.

Our team works closely with our US stores and eCommerce business to better serve customers by empowering team members, stores, and merchants with technological innovation. From groceries and entertainment to sporting goods and crafts, Walmart U.S. offers an extensive selection that our customers value, whether they shop online at Walmart.com, through one of our mobile apps, or in-store. Focus areas include customers, stores and employees, in-store service, merchant tools, merchant data science, and search and personalization.
What You'll Do
As a **Software Engineer III in Performance Engineering** , you will:
+ Design test strategies to uncover and resolve performance bottlenecks.
+ Develop, maintain, and execute performance testing scripts and analysis reports.
+ Populate performance dashboards and track KPIs.
+ Collaborate with architecture and infrastructure teams to enable end-to-end release testing.
+ Ensure performance standards are integrated throughout the SDLC.
+ Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term fixes with development teams.
+ Provide insights and process recommendations based on performance results.
+ Lead or contribute to large-scale, cross-functional initiatives.
+ Introduce new performance tools and best practices to enhance team productivity.
+ Mentor team members and contribute to ongoing skills development.
+ Continuously improve practices related to system and software performance.

+ Build repeatable and scalable deployment processes in the Health & Wellness tech space.
+ Support production incident resolution and update implementation guides for consistency.
+ Translate business challenges into actionable, technical solutions.
+ Provide support for hardware, software, and network performance troubleshooting.
+ Improve quality and reliability across systems and services.
What You'll Bring
Education
+ Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
Experience
+ 6+ years in performance engineering.
+ 5+ years scripting in tools like JMeter.
+ 5+ years building performance engineering frameworks.
+ 3+ years working in CI/CD environments.
Technical Skills
+ Databases (MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, NoSQL).
+ Performance, capacity, and endurance testing.Networking, REST/SOAP services, and mobile platforms (iOS, Android).
+ Deep understanding of Agile and DevOps workflows.
+ Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
Soft Skills
+ Strong communication, especially for senior stakeholder reporting.
+ Leadership in driving performance initiatives and technical improvements.
+ Comfort with ambiguity and fast-paced, collaborative environments.
+ Strong business acumen and the ability to simplify complex concepts.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...
