We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Technical Product Manager to join our Data Center DRAM product management team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop and drive the CDBU-specific DRAM product strategy, define the DRAM product requirements, and manage the DRAM product lifecycle. We will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, sales, other BUs, and business management, to ensure the successful launch and adoption of our products!
The segment portfolio will represent a significant portion of Micron’s revenue and include innovative technologies that are critical for enabling future solutions in the server market.
Core Responsibilities:
+ Author and advocate the CDBU DRAM product requirements to product teams internal to Micron
+ Develop and maintain the multi-year product strategy and roadmap, in collaboration with the cross-functional core team
+ Quantify and articulate the value proposition of each product offering across key workloads and end user applications
+ Serve as the DRAM product authority in meetings with customers and industry partners
+ Guide long-term demand forecast strategy on competitive landscape, enabler platform adoption and product TCO and substitutive elasticity
+ Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the ‘problems to solve’ for our customers, memory technology trends, system architecture trends and competing solutions to define product features, priorities, schedule, and other requirements
+ Support the server roadmap development and advocate for customer-specific requirements
+ Understanding and influencing the server market model, and translating to externally communicated trends
Qualifications & Skills:
+ Strong relevant technical background and proven capability to understand and communicate sophisticated technical concepts
+ Solid presentation and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with customers and cross-functional teams
+ Experience with defining technical product requirements and developing processes to communicate and manage requirements
+ Technical depth and knowledge of data center products and memory solutions
+ Self-driven and proactive, demonstrated capability of taking ownership in a dynamic environment
+ Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset for decision making
+ Experience in market research and competitive analysis
+ Experience with JAMA and JIRA
+ Ability to travel both domestically and internationally
Education and Experience:
+ Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering
+ 5+ years of product management or product development with significant experience in both technical and business roles in the semiconductor industry
+ Master’s Degree or equivalent experience in engineering or product management is preferred

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:
$141,000.00 - $319,000.00
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training. The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. Additional compensation may include benefits, discretionary bonuses and equity.
