Our team's mission is to deliver high-quality products through robust testing and continuous improvement. As a Principal, Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our product roadmap and ensuring our solutions meet the highest standards.

    What You’ll Do

    + Architect and design remote testing infrastructure.

    + Develop and implement strategic plans for lab evolution.

    + Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.

    + Drive continuous improvement of lab infrastructure, tools, and processes.

    + Collaborate with product, engineering, and QA teams.

    + Ensure adherence to security best practices and compliance standards.

    + Develop and maintain KPIs to track lab performance.

    + Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide escalation support.

    What You’ll Bring

    + Extensive experience in system architecture and test automation.

    + Strong understanding of consumer electronics platforms (Smart TV, Set Top Box, Streaming devices).

    + Proficiency in Linux system administration and networking.

    + Familiarity with scripting languages (Bash, Python) and automation frameworks.

    + Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools.

    + Knowledge of web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React).

    + Understanding of database systems and architecture.

    + Experience with cloud computing platforms and test automation tools (PyTest preferred).

    Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities.     The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00

    Minimum Qualifications...

    Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and5 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.

     

    Option 2: 7 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.

The ideal candidate would have knowledge of accessibility best practices and join us as we continue to create accessible products and services following Walmart’s accessibility standards and guidelines for supporting an inclusive culture.
