About the Team

The Walmart/VIZIO team is dedicated to revolutionizing the smart TV experience. We focus on developing advanced software solutions that enhance user experiences and drive innovation. As a crucial member of this team, you'll contribute to our mission by developing robust and scalable systems that align with our company's goals.

What You’ll Do

+ Build and automate Linux-based TV Box images.

+ Create and maintain scripts for software and library installations.

+ Perform low-level system administration and lab feature implementation.

+ Deploy and set up Linux and Cloud-based lab servers.

+ Investigate and troubleshoot hardware and low-level issues.

What You’ll Bring

+ Strong expertise in Linux system engineering.

+ Experience with Linux for SBC or ARM-based systems.

+ Proficiency in Bash scripting and Python programming.

+ Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

+ Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Bonus Points:

+ Experience with Flash scripting and Python frameworks (e.g., Flask, Django).

+ Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).

+ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

+ Experience with embedded systems testing and video/audio streaming technologies.

+ Experience in a fast-paced, agile development environment.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00
