    The V-22/LSDL program has an immediate opening for a Financial Analyst in the Naval Power / Naval Airborne Solutions (NAS) business area. The V-22 program supports multiple variants of the V-22 Osprey aircraft and includes both internal and external earned value reporting. The program currently consists of CPFF (Cost Plus Fixed Fee) projects. LSDL (Logistics Software Development Laboratory) is a competitive Firm Fixed Price Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) Program. The Program sells the EAGLE Suite of software both domestically and internationally. The overall portfolio averages 160+ FTEs & $45M in annual sales.

     

    This position will provide the opportunity to increase exposure to multiple facets of finance and the overall organization. You will have a key role in the setup and execution of multiple contracts while providing critical financial oversight and guidance, as well as contributing to earned value processes and reporting.

     

    Responsibilities will include working closely with Finance counterparts, Program Management & Control Account managers to ensure program cost & schedule success , as well as processing of new orders based on the program’s revenue recognition guidelines.

     

    The ideal candidate can work in a fast-paced team environment, work across multiple organizations and levels of leadership, and meet deadlines. This candidate is detail focused, seeks process improvement and efficiency opportunities, and works to ensure the program successfully executes.     _This position is currently designated as Onsite. However, the successful candidate will be required to work onsite from one of the following Raytheon locations_** **,** **_Indianapolis IN, McKinney/Plano TX, El Segundo, CA, or Tucson AZ._

    What You Will Do

    + Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting & variance analysis.

    + Processing of received sales orders according to revenue recognition guidelines.

    + Support Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) implementation and maintenance, variance analysis, quarterly Estimate-at-Completion (EAC) / monthly Latest Revised Estimate (LRE) development.

    + Support the monthly forecast process which includes coordinating forecast updates with program stakeholders and updating Rplan.

    + Contribute to cross-functional teams with an emphasis on financial implications of team decisions.

    + Ad hoc data requests.

    Qualifications You Must Have

    + Typically will have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics, or related discipline and 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree and a minimum of 3 years of applicable experience.

    + Experience with skills like Program Controls, EAC, and/or Earned Value Management Systems.

    + Advanced experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

    + U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.

    + Excellent professional communication skills, verbal and written.

    + Experience using SAP/APEX software, Excel AO, Power Query and/or similar systems/software.

    + Experience with Program Management (PMX) Tool Suite & EDIT+.

    + Experience with financial planning and associated key metrics (Bookings, Sales, Earnings, & Cash).

    + Experience with EVMS implementation, cost, and schedule reporting.

    + Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

    + Experience working in a DoD environment.

    Additional Information

    + This position is grade P3, Principal Specialist, Program Cost Control.

    + Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

    The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

     

    RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

     

    This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
