Overview
The Sharp Display Division is seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader as the Vice President of Solutions and Services to drive our customer service/support and solutions business efforts. The VP will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of solutions & services strategy, service delivery, technical support, customer success, solutions project management, and solutions services to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction levels and retention. In addition, this leader will be focused on solutions and services becoming a growth driver and delivering differentiated value in the display market.
Responsibilities
+ Develop and implement strategic vision, plans and initiatives to drive outstanding customer outcomes focused on service delivery, customer support and solutions services operations.
+ Lead and mentor a team of service managers, support specialists, service engineers, project management, field engineers, and customer success representatives.
+ Define framework for all service metrics and key performance indicators including service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure adherence to performance metrics and KPIs.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales and marketing to drive customer-focused initiatives.
+ Analyze end user & partner feedback and service data to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions to meet the highest levels of support.
+ Champion a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the services and support organization.
+ Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, acting as a point of escalation for complex issues.
+ Oversee the solutions project management from quote to installation as well as service for the life of the products.
+ Develop and manage departmental budgets and forecasts in alignment with company goals.
+ Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in customer service.
Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (master’s degree preferred).
+ Proven experience (5+ years) in a senior leadership role within customer service, technical support, or related field.
+ Experience driving solutions and services development with the focus on offerings that are for profit, not just cost remediation.
+ Demonstrated success in developing and implementing service strategies that establish best-in class customer satisfaction and retention culture.
+ Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to grow, inspire and motivate a team.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
+ Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and problem-solving.
+ Experience with CRM systems and service management tools.
+ Ability to travel occasionally as required.

Compensation for this position
The compensation range for this role is$185,100 - $260,000. The listed salary range or contractual rate excludes bonuses, incentives, differential pay, and any other forms of compensation or benefits. The starting salary will be determined by several variables, including but not limited to experience, education, training, certification, and location. You may also be eligible to receive an annual discretionary incentive award, commissions, and program-specific awards, which are subject to the rules governing these programs.
