Leidos’ Defense Systems, Systems Integration and TestTeam is seeking anElectrical Test Engineer…. Primary Responsibilities

+ Circuit analysis and debugging.

+ Debugging PCBA level Hardware.

+ Performing test data analysis via test and debug tools.

+ Briefing both internal and external parties on test results and data.

+ The position may require working outside in all weather conditions and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Basic Qualifications

+ The position requires an ABET accredited B.S. or equivalent degree in computer engineering, or electrical engineering with 2+ years of experience or les than 2 years with MS degree.

+ Candidates must have knowledge of and experience with defense or commercial test engineering practices and processes.

+ Candidates must have experience developing and executing hardware test plans and procedures.

+ Candidates must have direct, hands-on experience with hardware, or system integration, troubleshooting and testing.

+ Resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.

+ Possess a secret clearance, or have the ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

+ Three to five years of experience with PCBA debugging and/or development.

+ Experience with Mentor Graphics schematic capture and PCB tools.Experience with EMI / ESD, 461, or CE testing.

+ Working knowledge and operation of electronic test equipment (e.g. oscilloscope, voltmeter, signal analyzer/generator)

+ Working knowledge of software languages Python, C, C++, C# and or firmware languages

+ Experience preparing and presenting briefings and/or demonstrations to customers and management

+ Planning and executing demonstration tests and US Gov't test ranges/facilities

Pay Range:

Pay Range $67,600.00 - $122,200.00
