Construction Operations Manager - Commercial Flooring

$100,000 to $120,000 Starting Salary Range - Plus Bonus

Summary

The Manager is responsible for the coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of assigned construction projects.  Our Manager will effectively cultivate good team and group dynamics, demonstrate the technical and practical expertise for successful project completion, and display an ongoing commitment to quality. Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of designated project to ensure that goals or objectives of project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters.  Develops projects to assure profitability and customer satisfaction.

Essential Responsibilities:

+ Maintain good relationships with external clients including superintendents and subcontractors in other trades

+ Manage pipeline of projects in various phases

+ Monitor costs including labor, time, and materials and keep jobs moving forward on time and within budget

+ Perform job site inspections prior to mobilization to ensure readiness

+ Supervision of field labor force including foremen and other construction personnel

+ Hiring, training and development of employee crew labor

+ Create training protocols as deemed necessary to improve operational performance

+ Demonstrate commitment to safety and injury-free work environment

Qualifications:

+ 5+ years of construction experience in commercial construction projects

+ The ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

+ Must be able to organize, prioritize and manage multiple tasks

+ Must be an effective communicator with vendors, subcontractors, owners and co-workers
