_Responsibilities_

CHEMICAL RESEARCH TECHNICIAN

Our Fortune 500 Petrochemical Chemical customer is seeking a long-term contractor is Work in Process Research Laboratories running small scale process units and other various lab techniques.

• Research Process Unit Operation (Lab Scale)

• Wet Benchtop Chemistry (Catalyst Preparation, etc)

•Analytical Equipment Operation (eg. GC, GC/MS)

•Unit / Analytical Troubleshooting & Maintenance

•Data Workup

• GC Method Development /

Modification

• Unit / Lab Notebook record keeping

•Execute and oversee change management

• Order lab supplies and submit work orders

•Implement LOTO on complex systems

• Perform instrumentation and piping work

_Requirements_

• Prefer BS, Chemistry or related field

• Will consider a minimum of 1 year of prior relevant experience with an AAS (biology, chemistry, lab technician, etc.)

• No degree with experience may be applicable (example: no degree but has worked in a lab previously and/or has relevant technical-focused military experience.
