Grooming Formulated ICA Sr. Engineer Job Description:

You will be a key member of the P&G Grooming ICA team delivering new products and process innovations, specifically on the formulated on-board chemistry team. ICA engineers at P&G are the glue that help build the digital landscape for all production equipment and help drive Industry 4.0 emerging technologies, digital manufacturing, and future automation trends including best -in -class online & offline quality inspection systems to enable superior innovation and products for the consumers. While the role is Boston based, we have plants all over the globe, and you will get the opportunity to travel to based-on business and project needs.

As the Intelligent Controls and Automation Engineer you will:

+ Provide technical leadership in supporting the OU core business and initiative delivery.

+ Act as a key enabler in leading and delivering results against challenges.

+ Be an integral part of executing projects for the category by leveraging new advanced controls, robotics, information systems and Cyber Security technologies.

Job Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

+ Design, develop, and implement control systems for molding, assembly, and packaging equipment.

+ Manage electrical schematics, programming, and safety validation plans.

+ Lead the design and architecture of control systems, ensuring compliance with NEC, NFPA, ISO standards.

+ Troubleshoot and debug control systems, providing technical support for commissioning efforts.

+ Participate in daily direction setting meetings, department meetings, and platform-specific meetings.

+ Communicate effectively with technical representatives and broader teams to ensure project alignment and progress.

+ Support obsolescence management and update existing control systems as needed.

+ Must be able to read and understand a Process and Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID)

+ Familiar with pumps (all types), valves, RTDs, thermocouples, flowmeters, pressure transmitters, and 4-20ma / 0-10v devices and input cards

+ Must understand control loops for temperature, pressure and tension control. (Desired) to have formulated experience with batching knowledge . Should understand State Models, Phase Control, Equipment Modules, Control Modules, and Sequential Function Chart programming

Pay Range: $115,000 - $145,000

Compensation for roles at P&G varies depending on a wide array of equal opportunity factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, degree/credentials, relevant skills, and level of experience.
