Wastewater Plant Construction Foreperson

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

+ Supervise and lead a team of construction workers, subcontractors, and equipment operators to complete wastewater treatment plant construction projects.

+ Ensure construction activities are conducted in compliance with all safety regulations and project specifications.

+ Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project plans to direct work on-site.

+ Coordinate daily construction tasks, track project progress, and adjust schedules as needed to meet deadlines.

+ Communicate regularly with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to provide project updates and resolve issues.

+ Ensure all materials and equipment are available and properly utilized to maximize productivity.

+ Monitor and maintain quality control on all aspects of the construction process.

+ Address and resolve any issues that arise on-site, including safety concerns, technical problems, or personnel conflicts.

+ Maintain accurate records of project activities, progress reports, and workforce attendance.

Required Qualifications:

+ High school diploma or equivalent (Construction Management or related field preferred).

+ Minimum of [X] years of experience in construction, with at least [X] years in a supervisory or foreperson role.

+ Experience in wastewater treatment plant construction or similar industrial construction projects.

+ Strong knowledge of construction practices, techniques, and safety regulations.

+ Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

+ Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and plans.

+ Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend) and Microsoft Office Suite.

+ Ability to lift heavy materials and work in outdoor environments.

+ Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Certification in OSHA 30-hour Construction or other relevant certifications.

+ First Aid and CPR certification.

+ Experience working with contractors, subcontractors, and government agencies.

Compensation:

Competitive wage commensurate with experience. Excellent benefit package including company paid health, dental and vision insurance with a company-funded retirement plan.

Base salary range - $48,000-$112,500

Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as related work experience, market conditions, education/training, certifications and other credentials, overtime when applicable, as well as applicable knowledge and skills.
