Our **Talent Development & Learning** team within the Human Resources organization partners with business leaders to focus on improving associate skills and knowledge to enhance individual and organizational performance, and to support career growth.

As the **Leadership Development Consultant,** you will play a key role in advancing leadership capabilities and aligning leadership development initiatives with organizational goals. This is a subset of the overall responsibilities which will include multiple initiatives as assigned by Human Resources leadership.

_How you’ll spend your time:_

+ Provide thought-leadership on the design of development strategies that support the growth of our leaders and culture.

+ Manage leadership programs to include execution, communications, delivery and program analysis and evaluation.

+ Lead vendor relationships to include contract negotiations, tactical direction, and guidance on design of leadership programs and resources.

+ Support UMB leaders by conducting and debriefing leadership assessments and supporting development needs.

+ Stay current with external trends.

_We’re excited to talk with you if:_

+ You have a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources or related field.

+ You have at least 8 years of Talent Development or HR roles with consultant and training aspects.

+ You have advanced knowledge of leadership and development principles.

+ You have experience creating virtual learning experiences and ability to effectively facilitate group learning.

+ You are certified in Hogan Assessment and/or DiSC Assessment.

+ You have strong business acumen and deep persistent desire to understand organizational culture.

+ You have the ability to provide verbal and written information clearly, succinctly, and persuasively.

_Bonus Points If:_

+ You have banking industry experience.

This role is hybrid (Tue through Thu on-site) located in downtown Kansas City, MO.

Applicants must have legal authority to work in the United States. Work Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Compensation Range:

$69,230.00 - $149,000.00
