    As Regulatory Facilities Programs Director, you will work closely with Enterprise Safety and Quality, ITD, Operations, Facilities Management, stakeholders and end users to provide oversight, monitoring and vendor/consultant management for the Enterprise Water Management and Refrigerator/Freezers Programs. In this role, you will assess technology, data integrity planning and systems to ensure the proper standardization of processes, data collection and reporting. Ultimately, these efforts are pivotal in the ongoing maintenance of Cleveland Clinic facilities, allowing you to directly enhance the patient and treatment experience at our many hospitals.

     

    A caregiver in this position works days from 7:30AM - 5:00PM, with local travel requirements as needed.

    A caregiver who excels in this role will:

    + Assist with the development of dashboards and integration into Cleveland Clinic systems and work closely with other departments/onsite caregivers.

    + Oversee the organization and execution of the Programs in accordance with regulatory and enterprise requirements and policies.

    + Work with leadership to facilitate strategic planning, assist with driving consistent enterprise solutions and applications, analyzing strengths and weaknesses related to inventory, remote monitoring and workflow.

    + Participate in site reviews of Water Management Programs enterprise-wide (all CCF locations), including both the inpatient/outpatient settings and ambulatory care centers.

    + Verify that water sampling is occurring in accordance with the Water Management Plan, including Legionella Cultures, Chlorine Testing and Temperature Testing.

    + Work with Site Water Management Teams to provide updates to Infection Control Committee and Environment of Care Committee.

    + Provide input and expertise to the Annual Water Management Plan/Risk Assessment and Asset Inventory for the enterprise.

    + Work with Buildings and Design to ensure compliance with design guidelines regarding best practices related to water management and refrigerator/freezer compliance.

    + Monitors and reports on development of 'Programs' progress-based scope of work and contractual payment obligations associated with hired consultants.

    + Assist with preparation for and response to investigations and/or audits, including those potentially related to waterborne illnesses.

    + Participate in budgetary process, costing out program development and financial planning, including ITD to establish a network of points, hubs and servers to support enterprise-wide monitoring and related facilities infrastructure systems.

    + Work effectively with internal and external partners in tracking progress, developing action plans for not meeting contractual deliverables/timelines and developing a process to review and follow up with action plans.

    + Serve as a liaison with all levels of the organization and outside vendor community.

    Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

    + Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Environmental Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science or a related field

    + Certified to the ASSE 12080 Professional Qualification standard for a Legionella Water Management Specialist within one year of hire

    + Seven years of experience in the facilities management and/or a related field

    + Proficiency in basic computer skills and Information Technology

    Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

    + Certified Healthcare Facility Certification

    + Project Management Certification

    + Experience working in a healthcare environment

    + Management experience

    + Knowledge of budgeting, cost analysis, manpower planning, supervision, and operational analysis

    Physical Requirements:

    + A high degree of dexterity to produce materials on a computer.

    + Requires normal or corrected vision and hearing to normal range.

    + Extensive sitting and frequent walking, occasional lifting or carrying up to 25 pounds.

    + May require working irregular hours.

    Pay Range

     

    Minimum hourly: $53.90

     

    Maximum hourly: $82.19
