    As an MEP/Systems Superintendent (of the night shift, 8PM - 5AM) managing the installation of the large, complex MEP systems for Bush (IAH) Airport Terminal B project, you will leverage your capacity for innovation and problem-solving to ensure an exceptional project is delivered You will oversee contracted work ensuring compliance with contract documents and the project schedule while also implementing a culture of safety and quality.

    Responsibilities

    + Lead, direct and coordinate the work of the assigned trades

    + Manage the work to ensure that it is installed in compliance with the contract documents

    + Ensure safety, schedule delivery, and quality of work is performed and adherence as well

    + Develop and implement recovery strategies to maintain project schedule and budget, as needed

    + Communicate with owners and architects/engineers in connection with field issues

    + Participate in the pay application review process and help to ensure gross billing projects are met

    + Lead project inspections, startup, commissioning, turnover and training process, and punchlist required for acceptance and handover of all the systems

    + Review owner directed changes and subcontractor change order request paperwork to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements

    + Keep detailed daily records of trade contractors’ work progress

    + Work with trade project manager to ensure all requirements are met or exceeded

    Basic Qualifications

    + Undergraduate or graduate degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, a related discipline, or relevant work experience

    + 7+ years of experience managing the installation of large, complex MEP systems

    + 2+ years leading, developing, and motivating teams

    + In-depth knowledge of the construction process including scheduling, contract administration, equipment, and personnel

    + Demonstrated experience leading field operations and communicating plans effectively across multiple audiences

    + Workingknowledge of applicable safety and building regulations (i.e., OSHA)

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Working knowledge of construction management software platforms and tools including Procore, PlanGrid, FieldWire, Bluebeam, and P6
