    Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Development Sr. Programmer Analyst for its Irving, TX location.

     

    Duties: Perform data validations and provide support for the Event Hub platform by extracting data and conducting data utilizing best-in-class analytical tools, software, and techniques including stream processing, machine learning, and unstructured data mining. Analyze existing services to enhance real-time solutions that can provide real business value to Citi group. Design, develop, and implement real-time streaming solutions to transform batch process to real-time business and customer service interactions. Perform platform maintenance and technical troubleshooting for existing integrations. Responsible for overall coordination of user acceptance testing as well as performance testing as part of high-quality delivery standards. Assist with coordination between internal teams to collaborate on new solutions to existing problems by tracking and providing technical guidance and support. Design and implement automation processes to control data access, transformation, and movement to ensure source system data availability and integrity. Work closely with business and development teams during defect analysis to collect information for root-cause analysis (RCA). Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their current state, identify their future state, and propose a viable solution. Identify and segregate scopes based on complexity to prioritize the tasks and provide an estimation. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

     

    Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Technology, Digital Animation, or a related field, and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or in a related IT occupation developing real-time data streaming applications. Four (4) years of experience must include: Utilizing Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices to develop robust streaming applications for financial services use cases; Designing and implementing real-time data use cases using event-based architecture and leveraging technologies including Kafka; Building and utilizing RESTful APIs to expose capabilities and ensure seamless integration and accessibility; Employing MongoDB for efficient data ingestion, management, and support for event-driven architecture; Performing multi-threading, concurrency, and performance optimization; Developing and deploying microservices using Spring Boot; Building real-time data pipelines using Apache Kafka; Designing and implementing schemas optimized for performance and scalability; Deploying and managing applications on the Red Hat OpenShift cloud platform; and Integrating OpenShift architecture with Kubernetes. 40 hrs./wk.
