    Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Support Technical Lead Analyst for its Irving, Texas location.

     

    Duties: Lead level 2 team to provide critical IT support for suite of applications under Treasury & Trade solutions business wing to ensure production stability and proper functionality. Technical oversight across systems and applications, leveraging skills across multiple apps support areas, and provide guidance on feedback reviews with development managers to ensure outstanding issues are tracked to closure. Execute controlled resolution of incidents and problems, including prioritization and escalation to relevant groups, and root cause analysis of problems with follow-through to resolution. Drive stability initiatives to enable application high availability for Business-As-Usual which includes better monitoring, failover, and resiliency. Coordinate with Operations, Product, Service Desk & Command Center members for escalation and management of production issues. Design and execute mature monitoring models covering hardware, websphere, database, network, application flows and architecture dashboards using Geneos ITRS, KIBANA, and App Dynamics. Develop solutions for end-to-end observability framework for monitoring critical workflows across applications. Handle any new application development analysis, design, user acceptance and performance test reviews alongside development and testing teams. Manage vendors from production support perspective to ensure production environment is stable and working properly. Serve as global point of contact for critical business/operation query/issue in production application, and coordinate with internal technology stakeholders for any technical issue analysis, escalation, and resolution in production. Contribute to any new application development requirement analysis, design, and new process from production support side. Design automated solution for global payment solutions and receivables applications, daily checkouts and code comparison between primary and secondary sites. Define, record, and execute application disaster recovery plans and procedures. Perform datacenter switches between production and continuity of business servers using network switches, DNS configuration and IP assignation. Lead and coordinate critical strategic initiatives at enterprise, sector and line of business levels to ensure stability and resiliency of most critical applications, and update the status that is reportable to various Regulatory agencies around the world. Prepare execution plan for all new application server and infrastructure buildouts. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

     

    Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s (3 or 4 years) degree, or foreign equivalent, in any field and 7 years of experience as a Software Engineer, Applications Support Analyst, Senior Technical Consultant or Support, Project Manager, Senior Project Lead, Project Lead, Systems Administrator or closely related position involving monitoring application and server performance. 7 years of experience must include: Incident analysis, escalation, and management using WinTel, Unix/Linux, AIX, MQ, Java, SQL, and TIBCO; Ensuring application resiliency and stability; Developing solutions for end-to-end observability framework and monitoring implementation; Server and infrastructure buildouts for new applications, and deploying codebase and patches using Udeploy and Teamcity; Capacity management, including evaluating capacity metrics, and maintaining application with sufficient infrastructure and logical resources; Java, J2EE, JDBC including Unix/shell/Perl scripting to analyze production issues, and write and modify automation scripts; Writing SQL queries to analyze data related issues, and extracting data from Oracle database; IIS, IHS and Apache webservers for troubleshooting, configuring, and maintenance; ITRS to monitor application stack; Kitbana and Splunk for log analysis; Monitoring messages using Tibco EMS, Connect Direct, and Nastel MQ; and AppDynamics, Glassbox, Autosys, and Service Now.
