Job Description

Butler America Aerospace is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented professional to serve in a dual capacity as our Accounting Clerk and Alternate Facility Security Officer (AFSO). This is a full-time, hybrid in our Shelton, CT office/remote role which requires a willingness to learn.

Accounting Clerk Duties: Assist with monthly financial reporting, general ledger and bank reconciliations and provide finance and accounting support.

AFSO Duties: Assist in oversight of industrial security program, initiating and tracking security investigations, visit requests and foreign travel, develop and conduct briefings and training.

Qualifications:

Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field

Ability to obtain a security clearance

Skills:

Strong attention to detail and organization skills

Proficient in excel including vlookup and pivot tables

E xcellent verbal and written communication

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Fast learner

Comfortable working with little guidance
