    BAYADA CERTIFIED HOME HEALTH AIDE COURSE

    BAYADA Home Health Care of Jersey City is offering a three-week certified home health aide training course! (two weeks online and one week in person)

    Students will learn:

    + How to provide compassionate, individualized care to your clients

    + How to give bed baths, use mechanical lifts, provide skin care, mouth care, denture care, incontinence and peri care, and so much more!

    + Effective communication skills

    + How to assess your client's needs and document them appropriately

    + Infection prevention protocol, including how to use proper personal protective equipment (PPE)

    Job Responsibilities for Certified Home Health Aides - CHHAs:

    + Assisting in daily living activities

    + Light housekeeping

    + Bathing

    + Grooming

    + Range of motion / exercises

    + Home Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc.

    + Assisting with ambulation

    + Medication assistance

    + Errands / escorts to appointments
