Your Impact
This role's primary purpose is to support the design, implementation, and ongoing operations of information security tools and services. This includes translating business and technical requirements into robust enterprise security software solutions that ensure information assets are adequately protected with acceptable levels of control. This also includes monitoring, testing, and evaluating security assessments of systems, and taking steps to help design and implement remediation solutions.
To be successful, the individual in this role must know security practices and tools related to identity and access management and enterprise digital certificate management systems. This role helps establish and maintain programs that enable the business to operate efficiently and remain in compliance with regulatory and industry best practices.
What you will Do;
+ Lead the implementation and maintenance of assigned information security solutions to ensure successful deployment and operation; develops and documents detailed standards (e.g., guidelines, processes, procedures).
+ Translate complex cross-functional business requirements and functional specifications into logical program designs, code modules, stable application systems, and software solutions; partners with the Product Team to understand business needs and functional specifications.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to convert specifications into flexible, scalable, and maintainable solution designs; evaluate project deliverables to ensure they meet specifications and architectural standards.
+ Guide application and software development teams in the design and build of complex solutions and ensure that teams are in alignment with the architecture blueprint, standards, target state architecture, and strategies.
+ Coordinates, executes, and participates in component integration (CIT) scenarios, systems integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT) to identify application errors and to ensure quality software deployment.
+ Participate and coach others in all software development end-to-end product lifecycle phases by applying and sharing an in-depth understanding of complex company and industry methodologies, policies, standards, and controls.
+ Has solid grasp of software design patterns and approaches; understands application-level software architecture; makes technical trade-off decisions at the application level Automate and simplify team development, test, and operations processes; develops detailed architecture plans for large-scale enterprise architecture projects and drives the plans to fruition.
+ Solve complex architecture/design and business problems; solutions are extensible; works to simplify, optimize, remove bottlenecks, etc. Provide mentoring and guidance to more junior-level engineers; may provide feedback and direction on specific engineering tasks.
+ Supports evaluation of new security technologies that address both current and future needs based on emerging threats and industry trends.
+ Completes custom enhancements of applications using secure coding techniques to reduce the threat of remote or local vulnerabilities
Minimum Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in computer science, CIS, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent work experience in a related field)
+ 2-5 years of experience in software development or a related field
+ 2 years of experience in database technologies
+ 4 years of experience working on project(s) involving the implementation of solutions applying development life cycles (SDLC)
+ 2 years of IT experience developing and implementing business systems within an organization
+ 2 years of experience working with defect or incident tracking software
+ 2 years of experience writing technical documentation in a software development environment
+ 2 years of experience working with source code control systems
+ 2 Years of experience with information security applications and systems
+ Experience developing cloud native applications with polyglot architecture.
+ Experience working with Continuous Integration/ Continuous Deployment tools.
Preferred Skills/Education:
+ Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, Spring Webflux, Spring MVC, Spring Data, and Spring Security
+ Experience in React JS and NodeJS frameworks.
+ Experience working with DBs like PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.
+ Experience building REST and SOAP web services using Java
+ Experience with Web Services (JSON, REST, JAX-RS, Spring-based REST services).
+ Experience with Java and J2EE/Java EE (including servlets, JSP, JSF, JDBC).
+ Strong understanding of Java concurrency, concurrency patterns, experience building thread-safe code in Java/JEE, Springboot, RDBMS, NoSQL DBs, Microservices, Google Cloud, CI/CD.
Secondary Skills (desired):
+ Experience with messaging products like RabbitMQ, Kafka, or ActiveMQ.
+ Experience with development tools like Eclipse, Git, Gradle, Sonar, Jenkins, Jira, Artifactory, etc.
+ Experience with web application servers like Tomcat, Jetty, JBoss, etc
+ Experience with TDD, code testability standards, JUnit/Mockito.
+ Strong understanding of OOP, design patterns, and industry best practices.
+ Agile project experience
Where You’ll Be;
+ Associates are required to relocate to the Charlotte region to foster collaboration and facilitate improved testing and support.
+ Lowe’s supports a Flex Office concept where in-person work is required two days per week at the Charlotte Tech Hub
+ Most business meetings are planned around the Eastern time zone.

Pay Range: $75,300.00 - $143,100.00 annually Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
