Preferred Qualifications
Role Purpose
Develops and presents educational programs that increase or reinforce knowledge and critical thinking in respiratory care. Develops programs and learning methods for staff in the use of new equipment, reviews current modalities. Coordinates the orientation of new staff. Provides guidance for staff members involved as mentors and evaluates general effectiveness of orientation program. Coordinates student related activities, pairs student needs with staff for shadowing and training. Works to support positive student experiences. Supports manager in development of quality improvement activities.
Responsibilities
+ Trains and orients new employees. Conducts initial assessment of competency during employee's department orientation.
+ Performs all duties of a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
+ Manages key programs to support education needs of clinical staff.
+ Implements and maintains quality improvement activities.

Education
+ Bachelor's Degree

+ Basic Cardiovascular Life Sup
+ Respiratory Care Practitioner
+ RRT
