Job Description:
The Media Editor/Videographer/Producer provides technical expertise and operations for high-end broadcast and digital video production including producing, videography, editing, lighting and some graphics. Oversees and/or participates in all WOUB grant related funding that requires video production as a deliverable. Participates in training Ohio University students in all aspects of professional video production techniques.
Primary responsibilities:
+ Act as lead producer in feature broadcast and digital documentary projects including conducting research, completing interviews and storyboard, and tracking broadcast rights through complete deliverable of finished project within all HD and UHD technical specifications.
+ Preview and provide final edit and color correction on all external video grant deliverables as well as documentary productions.
Minimum Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Media Arts/Video Production
+ 3 years work related experience
+ Ohio Driver’s License
Preferred Qualifications:
+ FAA certified remote drone pilot license.
+ Basic understanding of federal rules designating the differences between commercial and non commercial broadcast.
+ Understanding of all roles in the production process including producer skills-research, copyright and clearance issues.
+ Must have a track record of working effectively with students, faculty and staff from diverse backgrounds.

Advertised Salary:
The proposed salary range for this position is $51,281 to $59,614. The salary negotiated at the time of offer will be commensurate with education and experience while also considering internal equity.
