Job Description

Respond to all email administrative requests on both Firebird and Government Customer Service Manager mail/ticket systems

Support all HQ daily tasking which includes Firebird network, Spider (Government Customer Internet) Network router and switches, and DHCP servers.

Provide Tier 2 technical support to all Firebird network routers and switches.

Identify, communicate, and escalate any issues and risks on Government Customer's Firebird network.

Provide site network engineering design and As-built processes.

Provide assistance to all offsite CSP/Techs in troubleshooting and installing Firebird network equipment.

Travel to customer remote sites such as Division's, ROs and DOs to perform site surveys, new installations and site relocations.

Manage and support Next Generation Network (NGN) implemented by Government Customer which consist of Routers, Switches, WLC's, and WAP's, all through the Cisco Identity Services Engine.

Pre-Configure and perform IOS and firmware upgrades on all Routers, Policy Servers, Wireless LAN controllers and Network switches that support the Government Customer NGEN & SDA Network prior to shipping equipment out to a site, before a new install, or equipment replacement.

Install and support Security Programs Castle network which consist of switches, to also include servers and security cameras

Skills and Requirements

-Active Secret Clearance & ability obtain Public Trust

-6+ years of network administration experience

-Ability to travel to customer sites to perform site surveys

-Experience pre-configuring and performing IOS and firmware upgrades on Routers, Policy Servers, Wireless LAN controllers and Network switches -Security+ or Network-Experience with Firebird null
