Job Summary and Qualifications

The Provider Credentialing Supervisor WFH will oversee day to day operations of a team consisting of all elements of the Credentialing process. Assist in ensuring the coordination of initial and ongoing compliance with regulatory, state, federal and accreditation standards/requirements. Ensures that development and execution of Credentialing and other provider onboarding functions are in accordance with applicable department policies and procedures. Works directly with medical staff offices (MSO), providers and external clients to ensure satisfaction and timeliness. Monitors performance measures.

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

+ Lead and develop performance of a team of associates.

+ Handle escalated issues.

+ Provide performance reports to key customers.

+ Lead/coordinate smaller projects and special assignments by planning and identifying opportunities for process improvement/efficiency.

+ Perform audit procedures, including reviewing transactions, documents, records, reports, policies and procedures for accuracy and effectiveness.

+ Oversee multiple departmental functions.

+ Ability to work with multiple departments.

+ Develop recommendations for corrective action/improvement

+ Prepare formal work product summarizing audit outcomes for departmental review on an ongoing and timely basis.

+ Track and trend performance of employees.

+ Report on irregularities violation of standards of practice compliance.

+ Work independently.

+ Responsible for adhering to Information Security Policies.

+ Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

+ Bachelor's Degree from four-year college or university and 2-4 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience

+ Demonstrated, in-depth knowledge of credentialing

+ Ability to develop and manage audit processes

+ Manage both direct and indirect remote employees and ensure processes are followed

+ Highly analytical with the ability to demonstrate command of the details and to articulate those details at a higher level

+ Work well under pressure

+ Achievement-oriented with a positive, results-oriented style

+ Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to work effectively in a team environment

+ Demonstrated ability in leadership and/or managing others

+ Strong interpersonal, project management and mentoring skills.

+ Ability to make decisions in a rapidly growing, professional, service-oriented environment.
