Job Description

As a part of the World Wide Global Sales and Marketing team, this person will build test automation framework using Selenium (Cucumber framework) and ensure the integrity, accuracy, performance, and security of databases by testing and validating database systems and applications. This individual will work with the development team and the Product team to gather details on features the client wants to develop and use that information to drive the team build and execute product testing to determine customer usability, performance, and quality before deployment. This role requires you to advocate necessary changes to maintain quality, performance, and improve the end-user experience and the quality of data. To thrive in this role, you'll need to be curious, persistent, and at times persuasive. Some more responsibilities include:

* Develop test plans, test case, and test scripts to ensure database functionality; configure and maintain test environments; execute test cases manually or using automated scripts

* Data validation and ensuring accuracy and consistency of data within the database by performing data validation, data integrity checks, and data migration testing

* Write and execute SQL queries to verify data accuracy, identify bugs, and validate database functionality

* Responsible for executing data validation testing using SQL.

* Identify scenario for data testing

* Identify defects and report them in a clear and concise manner

* Participate in daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives

* Document test results, including pass / fail status and defects; provide detailed reports to stakeholders, highlight test coverage, and areas for improvement

Skills and Requirements

- 7-8 years of experience in QA Automation and QA best practices

- Experience developing and maintaining automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver test automation tool

- Ability to write SQL queries for data validation, testing, and reporting

- Strong knowledge of Java, Cucumber and Javascript test framework

- Deep knowledge of different types of testing including Sanity, Functional, Some, Regression, and API testing (SOAP UI or Postman)

- Bachelor's degree - Experience with Playwright for testing applications

- Salesforce (this is for a Sales and Marketing business stakeholders)

- Experience with Jira or Confluence

- Experience writing Automation framework with React or Nodejs

- Experience using Gherkin for writing test cases null
