Job Description
Insight Global is seeking one skilled Power BI Developer to support a financial services client in Indianapolis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for working closely with business stakeholders, gathering requirements, and translating them into BI solutions. This person will develop self-service BI solutions to enable business users with access to data. This person will design and develop interactive Power BI dashboards, data models for reporting, define and implement data governance and compliance best practices and integrate PowerBI with various data sources including SQL, Azure Data Lake, and APIs. This person will have to have very strong communications, be extremely proactive and have a work ethic that speaks for themselves.

Skills and Requirements
7+ years of experience in Power BI development with strong expertise in dashboard creation and data modeling.
Strong data visualization skills for UI/UX design experience.
Advanced proficiency in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and Power Query (M language).
Strong SQL skills for querying and optimizing large datasets.
Experience with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
Knowledge of Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, or other cloud-based data solutions.
Familiarity with Power Automate and REST APIs for Power BI automation.
Understanding of data governance, compliance, and security best practices.
Strong communication skills. PL300, DP600, or DP700 certifications
Python or R advanced analytics experience
Experience with Databrick, Snowflake, Hadoop, or Fabric null
