Job Summary and Qualifications
The Equipment Coordinator is responsible for ensuring MME (mobile medical equipment) within their given facility is readily available to maintain proper patient care and our clinical teams have what they need and when they need it. The Equipment Coordinator is also responsible for administrative functions associated with the equipment including tasks such as assisting with managing all entry and exit forms/processes and reviewing monthly rental report and invoices. Additional duties: coordination with Biomed to retrieve equipment to perform preventive maintenance procedures, monitoring location of equipment in the facilities and reporting of facility utilization/need
Major Responsibilities:
• Responsible for overseeing and directing all equipment management activities within a facility
• Ensure responses are performed in a timely manner to all requests from facility clinical staff regarding rental equipment and/or equipment needs.
• Coordinates with Biomed group to ensure all owned & rental equipment is checked, asset tagged, and added to the equipment tracking system.
• Monitors equipment PAR levels to confirm all are properly maintained at appropriate levels through collaboration of Min/Max with unit leadership.
• Utilize tools and reporting to drive high utilization as well as prevention of equipment loss and/or retrieval when applicable • Managing all rental equipment requests and returns within a consolidated service center or facility.
• Managing and maintaining all paperwork related to equipment, including entry and exit forms, and rental invoices.
• Review, audit, and retain all monthly rental reports and invoices, and report any discrepancies to the facility Supply Chain Director (SCD), Supply Chain COO, and/or designee.
• Establish and maintain relationships with rental equipment vendors.
• Guarantee that all rental equipment is returned properly and in a timely manner as outlined.
• Review monthly division rental report to discover opportunities to acquire rental equipment.
• Maintain effective communication with customers, co-team leaders, equipment technicians, and the management team. • Demonstrates effective problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrates comprehensive job knowledge.
• Prepares schedule for the on-site operations.
• Attends in-service presentations, and completes mandatory education week, including but not limited to, infection control, patient safety, quality improvements, MSDS and OSHA standards. Other • Performs other duties as assigned.

What qualifications you will need:
• High School Diploma or GED
• Bachelor’s or Associates Degree - Preferred
• Previous equipment management experience
