Job Summary and Qualifications

What you will do in this role:

• Maintains time keeping for assigned department(s)

• Maintains staffing schedules for assigned department(s)

• Participates in interview process for imaging positions

• New Hire process: Creates departmental orientation schedules; ensures initial competencies are complete within first 90 days;

• Works with staff to resolve issues and ensure positive relationships, does not delay in confronting issues as they arise, able to diffuse tense situations,

• Assists manager with staff growth and development

• Contributes to staff meetings in assigned department(s)

• Performs consistent periodic quality review of diagnostic images and works with staff to improve technical skills as needed

• Performance Improvement: collects and reviews data with staff as requested by manager.

• Consistently evaluates volume in department and flexes staff appropriately.

• Participates in imaging department environmental and educational rounds

• Participates in planning and implementation of annual imaging skills fair and imaging week.

• Participates in employee recognition events

• Participates in policy, procedure, and protocol reviews and revisions for assigned departments

• Other duties as requested by manager

What qualifications you will need:

Graduate of accredited Ultrasound program.

Supervisor must have American Red Cross or American Heart Association (BLS OR BCLS) Course Completion

Ultrasound supervisor must have 1) either ARDMS or ARRT (S) and 2) RVT or RVS
