    Our client, a leading contract pharmaceutical manufacturer, is seeking a Quality Director to join their team. As a Quality Director, you will be part of the Quality Assurance department supporting a dedicated quality team. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Quality Director

    **Location:** Des Moines, Iowa

    **Pay Range:** $120,000 - $145,000

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Lead the development and implementation of quality assurance programs to ensure consistent adherence to quality standards across all company processes.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including management, production, and regulatory affairs, to align quality goals with overall business objectives.

    + Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards (e.g., FDA, GMP, ISO), focusing on continuous improvement and regulatory readiness.

    + Review and approve key quality documentation, including process changes, batch records, validation plans, and SOPs, to maintain product integrity and compliance.

    + Drive process improvements by identifying opportunities for greater efficiency, risk reduction, and alignment with best practices.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + Bachelor’s degree in a science or technical field (e.g., Pharmacy, Biology, Chemistry, Engineering) or equivalent experience in a quality assurance or regulatory compliance role.

    + A minimum of five years of experience in quality assurance or compliance, ideally within the pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry, with at least three years in a leadership or supervisory role.

    + Extensive knowledge of global regulatory standards, cGMP, and industry best practices.

    + Strong ability to analyze and interpret data, solve problems, and make decisions that drive quality improvements.

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with teams at all levels.
