    Our client, a leader in the heavy industrial sector, is seeking a Welding/Fabrication Associate to join their team. As a Fabrication Associate, you will be part of a dynamic team supporting the fabrication and assembly of pipe orders. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, the ability to work independently and collaboratively, and a results-focused mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Welding/Fabrication Associate

    **Location:** Groveport, OH

    **Pay Range:** $22.00 Hourly

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Move loose or bundled pipe within the shop and yard.

    + Assemble pipe orders (single sticks or bundles) and maintain organized work supplies.

    + Follow safety precautions for fabricating, cutting, assembling, stacking, and shipping pipe.

    + Operate powered industrial equipment per OSHA guidelines and company procedures.

    + Measure, record, and add random pipe lengths accurately.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + 6-8 months of recent experience with machinery, band saws, and automatic welding machines.

    + Ability to use and understand tape measures and gauges for quality checks.

    + Strong mechanical background with at least 6-8 months of relevant experience.

    + Good oral and written communication skills.

    + Strong math skills for calculating product quantities.
